Peak Summit Program

The Peak Summit Racing Program is designed for motivated young athletes who are ready to take their ski racing skills to the next level through increased training volume, advanced technical development, and competitive race preparation.

Hosted at Caberfae Peaks Ski & Golf Resort in Cadillac, Michigan, the Summit Program provides a unique training environment with dedicated race lanes, varied terrain, and expanded on-snow opportunities. Athletes train throughout the winter season, building a strong foundation in both Slalom (SL) and Giant Slalom (GS) while developing the technical, tactical, and mental skills necessary for success in alpine racing.

The Summit Program is ideal for racers who are committed to improving their skiing, developing race-specific skills, and gaining valuable competitive experience. Through focused coaching, gate training, video feedback, and progressive skill development, athletes learn the techniques required to compete confidently while building a lifelong passion for the sport. In addition to weekend training at Caberfae Peaks, Summit athletes have the opportunity to participate in Tuesday evening training sessions at Timber Ridge Ski Area beginning in January, providing additional gate training and race preparation opportunities throughout the season.

Because the Summit Program is designed to provide advanced technical instruction and a higher-volume training environment, enrollment is by coach approval only. Athletes interested in joining the program should discuss their goals and experience with a Peak Racing coach prior to registration. Placement recommendations are based on skiing ability, previous racing experience, training commitment, attitude, and readiness for the demands of the program. Our goal is to ensure every athlete is placed in the training environment where they can be challenged appropriately, develop confidence, and achieve long-term success.
